Gender identity

Gender identity is a person’s sense of their own gender and can either match a person’s assigned sex or can be different from it. While someone might express behaviours, attitudes, and appearances that typically go with a particular gender role, these may not necessarily reflect their gender identity.

Sexuality

Sexuality is the way you describe sexual, emotional and physical feelings or attractions you have towards another person. You may be attracted to people of the same gender, or a different gender, or you might not experience sexual attraction at all.
