Children can pick up a range of common illnesses while their immune systems are still developing. There is lots you can do at home to help your child feel better.

If your child picks up a minor illness, there are lots of things you can do to help them feel better and get well.

The UK Health Security Agency also have a resources on winter illnesses, and five things you can do to look after your child in the colder months of the year. Their advice includes:

1 – Staying home when unwell

2 – Hand hygiene

3 – Catching coughs and sneezes
