Stoptober

Stoptober

Stoptober is the annual campaign created by Public Health England to encourage people to pledge to stop smoking from 1-28 October – and hopefully stop smoking all together.

Research shows if you can quit smoking for 28 days, you’re five times more likely to stop for good.

Why quit? There are lots of benefits to stopping smoking including feeling healthier, being able to do more with kids, save money and protect your family from passive smoking and future health concerns.

There’s lots of free ‘stop smoking’ guidance, advice and apps on the national quit smoking website.

Or you can access local services at Bradford District Stop Smoking Service or Wakefield District Stop Smoking Service.
