Healthy Start is a scheme that enables eligible applicants to get free vouchers every week to spend on milk, plain fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables, and infant formula milk plus free vitamins.

You could qualify for Healthy Start vouchers if you are pregnant or have children under 4 years, if you are on benefits, or if you’re pregnant and under the age of 18.

Find out more about whether you are eligible and how to apply on the Healthy Start website or by asking your health visitor. Once you have completed the form ask your midwife or health visitor to sign it.

If you live in Bradford, Healthy Start vitamins can be purchased or vouchers exchanged for vitamins at the community reception in your local health centre (see below for details).
